Buzz!™: The Mega Quiz
Released in May 2007, Buzz!™:The Mega Quiz was our second general knowledge Buzz!™ game. With a longer development cycle we were able to have some fun with new rounds, beef up the eight player mode, introduce some new characters and introduce mystery challenges which broke up the quizzing half way through the game.
Ben, our art director, also did a big overhaul with the user interface and presentation layer. It would have been easy to rest on our laurels and use the old interface, but we wanted to create something that looked and felt like television. Thankfully our efforts were appreciated and Buzz!™: The Mega Quiz was released to great reviews. We take social games really seriously and when that's picked up in the press it makes it all worthwhile. We were particularly pleased with this 9/10 from Eurogamer.
Buzz!™: The Mega Quiz was the first title to make it outside of PAL territories. The American version included a new database of questions and went on sale across America in Christmas 2007. Our world domination is nearly complete...
