Buzz!™: Brain of the World

To each country its own Buzz!™

For the first time ever, Sony released a Buzz!™ game on three platforms at the same time! Buzz!™: Brain of the UK was released in Spring 2009 on PS3, PS2 and PSP. And as if this wasn't enough of an epic task, it was our first game to have a version for each country!

The questions are general knowledge, written to be mostly relevant to all things British... Or French in the French version... Or Italian in the Italian version. You get the idea. So not only is the set – and Buzz himself – dressed in the colours of each country, the content is different for all.

Buzz!™: Brain of the World Banner

Offering truly 'local' questions in the Brain of... games presented a fresh challenge. Many games are just translated; this time most of our questions were crafted from scratch for each country to enjoy. This meant we could offer questions about Eastenders, Le Tour de France, La Corrida or Oktoberfest, so Buzz!™ fans all across Europe could enjoy questions about their home culture and knowledge. As well as a whole new set of questions we also retained the ability to use questions from MyBuzz and question packs from the PSN Store.

National leaderboards were created to find out who is the best Buzz!™ player of the nation and Sony ran the Buzz! World Championships, which saw a talented Swiss competitor walk away with a Mini Clubman.
