Relentless’ answer to Masterchef took place this summer with staff battling it out to be crowned ‘ The Master Baker’. Each week contestants baked a cake which was judged by their colleagues on taste, texture and appearance.
18 bakers, 29 cakes, 8 weeks and quite a few pounds later we crowned Dave Weekes the winner and Jo Haslam the runner-up. Congratulations to Dave and Jo on their amazing carrot and fantastic lemon cakes. However the tastiest part of the competition is the £226 we raised for GamesAid. Who said cake is bad for you?
